| 1591 - Dentzel Stander - $10,500 Outside row roach mane stander from the Dentzel company in Philadelphia bearing a double eagle saddle girthed over a bordered blanket with tassels. The head is furnished with a fancy headstall having fringe and a carved blossom. A crenellated breastband encompasses the chest while fringed breeching with loin straps encloses the hindquarters. Professional restoration by the late Charles Jacobowski. Glass eyes, natural horsehair tail. 65 long x 58 high. |
