E. Joy Morris “Hackney” Horse, 1900-1905, outside row. Characterized
as a “hackney” or coach horse because of the bobbed tail,
cropped mane, and bridle bit, this dramatic horse features a realistic
rendering of a sparrow hawk under the cantle and three bells and a rosette
