Turn of the century all wood carousel horse from the Dentzel carousel works in Germantown, PA. The dappled jumper features a gentle mare's head raised on an erect neck having a deeply carved cascading mane. A swallow tail saddle blanket supports an English style saddle and issues a tassel at the shoulder. The chest is embraced by a scalloped breastband while breeching, loins straps and crupper harness the hindquarters. Professional restoration, glass eyes, factory carved tail. 50 long x 52 high.
