Circa 19220 all wood carousel horse from the Allen Herschell carousel factory in North Tonawanda, NY. The jumper carries its glass eyed head above level on an erect neck having a flowing mane carved in high relief. The legs have feathered fetlocks and bear metal shoes. The saddle is girthed over two blankets, each having borders. The head bears a fancy bridle with jewels and a billowing cheek piece. The horse is in good condition having minor seams and paint chips. Stand and pole included.
