1497-4 - Dentzel-Muller - SOLD - (Time payments available)
Circa 1927, parted out from the Rock Springs Park, Chester, West Virginia carousel, the last complete machine made by the Dentzel Company of Philadelphia. The lively Muller carving has a tossed head with a bi-directional mane on an erect neck. An English style saddle is girthed over a simple blanket while a breastband wraps the chest and a bridle with boss restrains the head. Nicely preserved old paint by Dentzel painter Angelo Casamilia. 53 long x 46 high, 37 chest to rump.
