1531-10 - German - SOLD
Large German carved carousel horse c1900. Presumably for an English carousel as evidenced by its romance side on the left. The figure has skeined mane and trappings with harness, breast band, breeching and crupper embellished with tassels and square medallions and carved cantle. Bridle has well carved bit ring and buckle. Glass eyes are a pale blue-lilac color and horse has an old horsehair tail. Some seam separation and hind leg requires reattachment but is intact. Pipe stand as shown is included. As found condition- enjoy as is or good restoration candidate. 60" long x 39" high x 11" wide.
