Outside row all wood carousel horse carved in the Herschell Spillman carousel works in North Tonawanda, NY. The outside row prancer known as the “Gladiator Horse” is extravagantly decorated with a fancy tasseled blanket, a jeweled scarf with stars and flowing ribbons. A warrior with plumed helmet and shield seizes one of the ribbons. From Friends of the Long Island Carousel, NY.
