1598-4 - Dentzel - $10,000
Circa 1905-1910 wooden carousel horse from the Dentzel Carousel works in Philadelphia carved in a rare second row prancer pose attributed to Daniel Muller during his employment with the Dentzel firm. Professionally restored, the tucked head glass-eyed figure presents in a western theme having a fancy bridle, a lariat draped from the saddle horn, a tomahawk and spear on the side and a mountain lion pelt behind the cantle. Excellent condition, barring a slight seam showing on left rear leg. Stand and brass included. Ready for shipping in crate measuring 60 x 31 x 63 inches.
