Early 1900s figure from the Dentzel Carousel manufactory in the Germantown area of Philadelphia. The jumper carries and English style saddle girthed over a blanket, the whole secured by a shoulder strap, breastband, loin strap and breeching. The head is restrained with a bridle having a fancy bit with leather reigns. Professional restoration with hand painted motifs showing minor seams. 59 inches long. Display stand with brass included.
