Note the long divided forelock defining the glass eye. Lavish trappings include a saddle with notched skirt resting on fancy double blankets and issuing a foliate motif and a chain of disks from the cantle. The breast is encircled by a multi-layered fringed, lappeted and scalloped peytral while scalloped breeching encloses the hindquarters. In excellent solid condition the horse presents stripped, showing remnants of original paint. Wood restoration accomplished, ready to fine tune, prime and paint. 61 long x 60 high. 48 chest to rump.
