Circa 1906 wooden carousel figure from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company #68R, originally aboard the Willow Grove carousel in PA. The large stander presents in an unusual pose with left rear leg kicked back and carries an English style saddle girthed over a blanket secured by breast and breeching straps, the glass-eyed head on an erect neck having a deeply carved tousled mane. Professional restoration in excellent condition, stand and brass included. Ready for shipping in crate measuring 84 x 30 x 74 inches.
